Hi, I’m Scott Berkefeld, owner of Guardian Plumbing & Blocked Drains.
I grew up in Melbourne’s Inner East and started my plumbing apprenticeship in 1989. I learned the trade the old fashioned way, with mentors who taught me the value of honesty, respect, and doing things properly. After years working across Melbourne, I found my passion in residential maintenance plumbing. I loved meeting people, solving problems, and fixing issues others could not.
Guardian Plumbing was built on a simple promise: treat people fairly, do quality work, and always be honest. When I walk into a home, I treat it like my own. I explain the problem in plain English, give real solutions, and work efficiently to keep costs down. Nothing gives me more satisfaction than a customer saying they finally found a plumber they trust.
I have spent more than 35 years on the tools.
